If you have a modern scanner it will scan your documents into digital files that you can save onto your computer then you can use an optical character recognition program to convert the text.

If you don’t have an optical character recognition you can purchase it separately. Make sure to do a thorough search on your computer for an optical character recognition program because some of the newer versions of the OneNote program have it on there. Recent versions of Adobe Acrobat have it built in as well.
